DEFINATION

 • MRI is stand for Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

 • It is a medical Imaging technology that uses a strong magnetic field to generate cleared visualizing images.

 • They are also provide an internal structure of the body such as organs ,muscles ,bones, joints and blood vessels etc.

 

  ADVANTAGE OF MRI

 • MRI are help in for diagnosis and Identifying diseases such as Cancer tumor and joints and they are also beneficial for further study of spinal cord ,brain, Heart and etc.

 • MRI can be used for examine the patient condition such as blood  vessels and they also provide information about the blood flow and detect abnormalities.

 • MRI play a major role to identify and diagnosis of cancer and they helps to identify the shape of tumor cells in the various part of the body.

 • MRI has ability so produce a visualizing image without using lonizing radiation.

 • MRI is also uses for preventive health like screening , specially for high risk patient such as H.I.V /AIDS and tumor patient .

 • MRI is a advanced level machine and they produce early image as compare to C.T (COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY ).   

DISADVANTAGES OF MRI

• MRI are time taking then C.T.   

• MRI are expensive then C.T.

• MRI are produce unwanted sound to the patient.

• Patient with claustrophobia cannot be recommended for MRI as they might fall uncomfortable in the closed machine structure.

• MRI is not recommended to the pregnant women.

• Patient with pacemaker cannot be sent for MRI as the pacemaker can intervene in to the result.
